What is a Me-manual?

A handy guide on how you work and what your preferences are, to share with others.

Slightly longer version We all have different personalities, communication styles, habits and quirks. Rather than struggling through our differences, at Aula, we believe in building trust by sharing a few insights upfront.

The Me-manual is a handy tool to explain to your new team how to best collaborate with you, how you prefer to work and what support looks like for you when you're stressed or stretched. It also helps you strengthen your self-awareness and set healthy boundaries 🌱

And, don't feel boxed in by the design of the thing, the questions are there to guide your thinking. It's perfectly OK to skip a question if you're not comfortable with it, or if you're simply not sure what to say at this moment in time. Consider this your 0.1 version of your Me-manual.

You can download the template here - and add a link to your Notion Notepad!

Once your Me-Manual is complete:

  1. Attach your Me-Manual to the Discussion Forum at the bottom of this page.
  2. Submit it in an assignment via Handin. To do so, head over to Journey > Assignments and locate the assessment titled "Me-Manual Submission". In this assessment, you will submit your Me-Manual and then confirm that your submission has been made.
  3. Upload your Me-Manual to the Shared Folder on Google Drive
